This 35" square design by June Colburn features an oriental style dragon. Different than the usual European dragon, this Asian version is often seen as being a symbol of good, rather than an eater of fair maidens! The instructions are for raw edge applique, but seam allowances could be added to the full size pattern pieces for traditional applique.
