Have you ever wanted to make this traditional design, but not wanted to deal with the curves and inset pieces? Then this pattern is for you. Get the look of the traditional Double Wedding Ring without all the hassles!
This paperpieced version is made with all straight seams. Make 12" blocks, then set them together, block to block, with a 9" border. Leave the fabric off of the edge to have a traditional scalloped border.
This quilt is 54" square, but its simple to add more rows of blocks to make a bigger quilt. It's very easy to figure, since the blocks are the standard 12 inches and the border is 9 inches wide.
BONUS: Paperpiecing templates for 4" and 6" miniature blocks are included! A layout diagram for a 20" x 44" tablerunner is also given.
