Written by Daphne Grieg &Susan Purney Mark, there are 20 projects in this book. They are inspired by church windows, landscapes, flowers and more, and come in a wide range of sizes. This book's technique is for fusing the black (leading) fabric on top of the focus fabric(s), with the black fabric cut out so the fabric underneath can show through, creating the stained glass effect. When the top is done, it is sandwiched with batting and a backing, then the black fabric is stitched down, attaching the applique to the background while doing the quilting at the same time.
This 8 1/4" x 10 3/4" book has 128 pages, with lots of color pictures and step-by-step instructions for each project. A packet attached to the inside back cover contains all the pattern sheets needed for these projects.
