Designed by Ursula Riegel, this pair of 15" x 43" wallhangings features Chinese kanji to applique. Third in Ursula's series of Kanji patterns, after Aspirations I and Aspirations II, the characters included in this pattern are: Flower, Open, Spring, Rich, Expensive, Bamboo, Tell Newspaper, Age Year, Auspicious and Lucky.

The instructions are for fusible applique, with diagrams given for piecing the blocks together and finishing the wallhangings. Full size pattern sheets are included for all the kanji.
